Special Diet Notes & Options: Dairy-Free Waldorf Salad
By ingredients, this recipe is dairy-free / non-dairy, egg-free, gluten-free, peanut-free, soy-free, optionally vegan, and vegetarian. For strict vegan, be sure to use organic sugar or your favorite vegan sweetener.
For nut-free and dairy-free Waldorf salad, substitute sunflower seeds for the walnuts and use coconut milk yogurt in place of the cultured almond milk.
- 2 medium apples, cored and diced
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- ¼ cup chopped celery
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup So Delicious Plain Cultured Almond Milk, Greek Style
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- In a 1 quart bowl, combine apples, walnuts, celery, and cranberries.
- In a small bowl, stir together the cultured almond milk and sugar. Add this mixture to the apple mixture and stir to combine.
